LaShander Spencer-McQueen Joins Mary Baldwin University as University Registrar

Johnson City, TN – Blue Rock Human Capital is pleased to have partnered with Mary Baldwin University to place LaShander Spencer-McQueen, Ed.D., as the institution’s new University Registrar.

Mary Baldwin University is a small, private institution enrolling 1,800 students at the undergraduate and graduate levels online and in person. With campuses in historic Staunton, Virginia, and nearby Fishersville, MBU provides personalized, outcomes-driven education that equips students to excel in their careers, pursue lifelong learning, and serve their communities with purpose.

A high-performing higher education professional, Spencer-McQueen brings decades of experience to her new role. She joins Mary Baldwin following several years in administration at Morehouse College, culminating in a stint as Morehouse School of Medicine’s Registrar. In addition to registrar duties, her expertise spans student services, financial aid, and academic advisement, giving her a well-rounded view of today’s university.
