Greenwood Asher & Associates Launches Search for Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of the District of Columbia

Miramar Beach, FL – September 17, 2024 – Greenwood Asher & Associates (GA&A), a full-service executive search firm, today announced that the University of the District of Columbia, Office of Academic Affairs has retained their services to conduct a national search for the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS).

The University of the District of Columbia is a public historically Black land-grant university in Washington, D.C. It was established in 1851 and is the only public university in the nation’s capital. Dr. April Massey, the University’s Chief Academic Officer, says “We look forward to engaging a robust pool of applicants” and shares that the new dean will figure prominently in shaping a transformative path forward for the CAS community. “The College’s next dean will be a broad and inclusive thinker with deep roots in the arts and sciences roots.
