GHP Helps Start Early Add Three Board Members

GHP Executive Search was retained by Start Early to help expand their National Board of Directors. New members identified by GHP include Claudia Teran VP, Deputy General Counsel and Global Head of Commercial Legal at Snap Inc., Adam Waltuch, EVP, Global Distribution and Partnerships at TelevisaUnivision, and Garrett Young, Ed.D., Partner & General Manager-Human Resources at Microsoft Corporation.

Claudia Teran serves as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Snap Inc., where she oversees all legal matters pertaining to the company’s business operations. She also holds the position of Global Head of Commercial Legal, guiding Snap in areas such as content, music, advertising, marketing, and technology. Prior to her tenure at Snap, Ms. Teran served as EVP, Corporate General Counsel for Fox Corporation. Prior to joining Fox, she honed her skills as a transactional attorney at Sidley and Austin. Ms. Teran holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a law degree from New York University.

Adam Waltuch is the Executive Vice President of Global Distribution and Partnerships at TelevisaUnivision, reporting to the company’s CEO and the CEO of ViX, its streaming service. Previously, Mr. Waltuch was the Director of Partner Marketing for U.S. and Canada at Netflix. During his tenure, he held several roles with increasing responsibility, including Head of Marketing Partnerships for Latin America. Prior to Netflix, he was an executive at Google, leading teams behind products like Google Cloud and AdWords. Mr. Waltuch earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Universidad de ‘San Andrés’​ in Argentina.

Garrett Young Ed.D. is a Partner and General Manager, Human Resources with the Microsoft Corporation, with executive accountability for all aspects of the human resources function for 5 global engineering teams and the Microsoft Silicon Valley Site. Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr. Young held human resources leadership roles with Eli Lilly and Company. He also spent more than 10 years serving as an Associate Faculty, Professor Human Resources Management & Development at Indiana University and recently concluded a Visiting Assistant Professorship at the University of New Mexico. Mr. Young completed his Master of Art in Human Resources Development from Webster University and his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico.
