Gerardo Macias Joins DHR as Partner
SAN PEDRO GARZA GARCIA, NL, MEXICO, June 6, 2022 – Leading talent advisory firm DHR Global announces the appointment of Gerardo Macias to Partner. Located out of the firm’s Monterrey Metropolitan office, Macias has joined the Business & Professional Services, Consumer & Retail, Nonprofit, Education & Sports, Private Equity and Real Assets Practice Groups.
With more than 20 years of industry and functional experience, Macias focuses on C-suite and board positions as well as serving family offices. The addition of Macias to the DHR team will strengthen the firm’s cross-border work between the U.S. and Mexico.

Macias is a strategic and results-driven brand ambassador with a proven ability to build relationships with a purpose. Having lived and worked in both Latin America and North America, he can easily navigate between organizations’ different cultural nuances and their talent needs.
Macias also brings significant experience to his board search capabilities, having served in a wide array of board roles himself, with nonprofits in Detroit and private corporations and management consulting firms in Mexico.
Previously, Macias was Managing Partner for a boutique search firm leading multiple offices throughout Mexico. He also has a background in marketing, communications and real estate.
Macias holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College for Creative Studies. He is a Fellow of the Hive Global Leaders Program, Harvard Innovation Lab. In his free time, Macias shares his expertise on his podcast, The Grateful Leader.
