CarterBaldwin Executive Search announces the appointment of Joe Olivas as Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller for Freeman Company, the world’s largest brand experience and event management company.
In this post-pandemic era, Freeman plans to accelerate its organic growth, further its international business, expand its vertical offerings, and look for strategic acquisitions to complement these initiatives. With that, Joe will be a critical partner to the CFO and will be responsible for providing transformational leadership and management for all facets of the global accounting operations.
He joins Freeman with more than 15 years of accounting, auditing, and treasury experience, most recently from Farmer Brothers Company (NASDAQ: FARM), where he held progressive leadership positions in corporate accounting, ultimately serving as Treasurer and Controller.
Joe established his accounting foundation as an auditor for KPMG and Deloitte and earned a BSBA in finance and accounting and an MBA from The University of Texas at El Paso. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas.
