Caldwell Places Sally King as COO of Patterson Belknap

Stamford, CT, January 21, 2020 – Caldwell is pleased to announce it has placed Sally King as Chief Operating Officer of Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP.

Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP is pleased to announce that Sally F. King has joined the Firm as Chief Operating Officer.  She will be joining the Firm’s team of senior administrators which includes Michelle W. Cohen (Chief People, Diversity and Professional Development Officer), Ileana Brown (Chief Financial Officer), Jenni Dickson (Chief Business Development Officer), and Robert Holloway (Chief Information Officer).

Ms. King joins the Firm from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where she served as Chief Operating Officer since 2013.  Prior to joining Akin Gump, she served in similar roles at other US and UK law firms, including Dentons, Clifford Chance, and Cooley.  In her role as COO, Ms. King will be responsible for leading and directing operational functions of the Firm, including oversight of finance, information services, business development, and general management.  Ms. King received her MBA from Columbia Business School and her undergraduate degree from Croydon College in London, England.  Following business school and before entering the legal industry, she served as Senior Manager Legal Operations for General Electric, where she became GE’s first non-lawyer manager of a legal department, and as Vice President, Operations and Administration, for Verizon.
