BarkerGilmore Recruits Jeffrey Lewis as Chief Compliance Officer for Sinclair Broadcast Group

(Jan. 29, 2021) BarkerGilmore, a boutique firm specializing in legal and compliance executive search and leadership development, has recruited Jeffrey Lewis as the new Chief Compliance Officer of Sinclair Broadcast Group. The engagement was managed by John Gilmore, co-founder and Managing Partner, and Stephen Bell, Senior Director of BarkerGilmore.

Jeffrey Lewis, the former General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer & Corporate Secretary of Pinnacle Propane, LLC, brings with him more than two decades of experience as a strategic legal and compliance professional, fifteen of which were spent with a Fortune 10 company. He is highly skilled in the development and management of corporate compliance functions and is adept at utilizing innovation and technology to optimize compliance operations. Jeffrey earned his J.D. from Rutgers University, an L.L.M. in Corporations Law from New York University, and a B.A. from Southern Illinois University. As Chief Compliance Officer, Mr. Lewis will report directly to the CEO and serve as architect and steward of enterprise compliance. He will not only be responsible for the design, implementation, oversight, training, and enforcement of Sinclair’s compliance program, but will ensure compliance with all internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations including those of the FCC.
