2015 Q3 Life Sciences Hiring Index Reports Third Record High

ROCHELLE PARK, NJ, November 23, 2015 — ZRG Partners has announced the findings for the third quarter Global Life Sciences Hiring Index. Posted hiring levels were strong across all sectors, geographies and functions for this quarter.

Regionally, the US, EMEA and APAC all posted gains of 10% or more over Q2 2015 – with Asia Pacific posting a near 40% rise over 2014.

ZRG European President and Global Practice Head of Life Sciences, Adam El Din commented, “Today’s Life Science Industry is thriving but growth drivers extend far beyond traditional therapies and internal R&D. Companies are partnering with academia and research institutions to help with innovation. There is an increasing need for a new profile of R&D executives who can manage external partnerships as well as internal collaborations with all related departments in the organization. “Charisma and good communication skills” are an indispensable for an R&D executive to manage such complex interactions.”

David Fortier, Managing Director added, “Exciting new science, record investment and M&A activity, along with continued demographic shifts are converging to fuel unprecedented demand for talent in our industry. The companies who recognize these trends and invest heavily in attracting, retaining, and rewarding top performers will be most likely to succeed over the coming decade.”
