VMA Group Launches New Division

May 24, 2010 – U.K.-headquartered recruitment consultancy firm VMA Group has launched a new division providing personal and professional development for organizations and their communications teams. Led by Charlotte Butler, associate director at VMA, the practice will offer personal development programs, consultancy in team structure and effectiveness, executive coaching and talent showcase events. The first programs – ‘Managing the Message’ and ‘Impact and Influence’ – will commence this summer. The formation of VMA Enhance follows in-depth research into the wider career development needs of VMA’s client base and will allow companies to work with VMA not only to recruit people, but to nurture and develop their existing talent. VMA Enhance will employ a strong focus on continuous development and mentoring delivered by a network of accredited associates from the communications profession. Members of the network will also deliver the programs and services. “We wanted to take a different approach to professional development that is tailored to client’s needs, not based solely on skills training,” said Julia Meighan, CEO. “Ongoing mentoring will play a key role in our offering as well as tailored personal coaching based on individual requirements. Using this approach we hope to raise standards and enhance the performance of today’s communications talent.”
