The Segal Group Acquires Waters Consulting

February 3, 2014 – HR-consulting firm The Segal Group has acquired The Waters Consulting Group, Inc. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Waters Consulting Group, founded in 1976, has experience in the field of public sector human resources and compensation consulting. Clients are primarily municipalities and public authorities. “This acquisition significantly expands Segal’s resources and client base in one of the fastest growing areas of public sector consulting – compensation, job analysis, job evaluation and performance management consulting. We are very pleased to welcome Waters’ clients and staff to Segal,” said Joseph A. LoCicero, president and CEO. Segal has also acquired the Waters Consulting name and has branded its Public Sector Compensation Practice as Segal Waters Consulting, with staff in three offices, Washington, D.C., Phoenix and Dallas.
