Odgers Berndtson Adds Partner to Lead CIO/CTO Practice in New York

June 10, 2014 – Odgers Berndtson has added Amy Orlich as a partner to lead the firm's CIO/CTO and financial technology practices in New York. Ms. Orlich will focus on domestic and global searches for C-suite executives, as well as corporate and divisional CIOs, CTOs, and leaders in architecture, applications development, infrastructure and information security across a broad spectrum of industries. She has experience within the financial services infrastructure space in particular, which she will leverage to launch a specialized New York-based financial technology practice to work exclusively with asset management, capital markets, hedge funds, retail and commercial banking, and insurance clients, as well as the vast array of technology service providers. "Amy is exceptionally adept at helping organizations understand their technology leadership gaps, both in terms of their immediate needs and their long-term business goals, and then helping them to identify candidates with the appropriate core competencies, business acumen, and leadership qualities to close those gaps," said Steve Potter, managing partner for Odgers Berndtson's U.S. operations. Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, Ms. Orlich was a partner at CTPartners, where she primarily focused on technology and operations searches within the financial services sector; she held a similar role earlier in her career within Spencer Stuart’s operations and technology team. Odgers Berndtson provides a wide range of recruitment services for leading organizations in private and public sectors, including board level and executive search, management assessment and international assignments.
