NBN Retains Egon Zehnder

July 29, 2009 – Global executive search Egon Zehnder has been selected by the National Broadband Network to lead in its search for a chairman, according to a report published in The Australian. Egon Zehnder is also said to be expected to assist the NBN board, once it is appointed, in filling its CEO position. National Broadband Network is a company formed by the Australian government that that will invest up to $43 billion over eight years to build and operate a broadband network to deliver broadband to Australian homes and workplaces. Founded in 1964, Egon Zehnder has 385 consultants, operating from 63 wholly owned offices in 37 countries.
