“Jane is the perfect match for this important role within our global alliance. She brings a thorough knowledge of both American and global markets,” said Patrick Westerburger, president of the IRC executive board. “With her strong leadership skills she will be able to manage our strategy for sustainable growth in the market.”

“I am honored to be the new IRC Americas regional leader. I look forward to expanding each of our individual relationships and collectively throughout the IRC network in order to provide the best quality executive search service across the world,” said Ms. Lyons. “I am convinced we have a unique ability to support our clients in achieving their goals within our regional geographies and individual specializations.”

This year IRC Partners has expanded its global footprint. Lagos, Nigeria-based Leading Edge Consulting joined IRC as a partner firm.  Nigeria, often called the ‘Giant of Africa,’ is the largest economy on the African continent with a population of nearly 175 million. It is the seventh most populous country in the world inhabited by some 500 ethnic groups. The country’s oil reserves have played a major role in its growing wealth and influence and it is now considered to be an emerging market by the World Bank.

Budapest-headquartered BM Recruitment also joined IRC as a member firm. Serving clients in Hungary since 2007, BM Recruitment serves the production/manufacturing, construction/real estate, finance/accounting, diagnostic and legal industries. Barbara Vincze serves as managing director of the firm. “Over the past years Hungary has been attracting manufacturing business in a broad range of industries, one of them being suppliers to the global automotive industry,” said Mr. Westerburger.

IRC also added Synergy Consultants India to its global network of recruiting and leadership advisory firms. Established in 1989, Synergy Consultants is among the pioneers of executive search in India. “India is one of the key emerging markets. We are really pleased that we identified such a strong and experienced partner in this country,” said Mr. Westerburger.

With a growing roster of leading executive search firms across Europe, Middle East, the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australia, IRC Global Executive Search Partners has more than 300 executive search professionals in 80 offices across six continents.
