eQuest Forms New HR Consortium

July 9, 2013 – eQuest, a job posting distribution and job posting management provider, has formed Big Data for HR Consortium, a worldwide group that will serve as an arena for sharing best practices, discussing trends and their implications, and considering issues common to those providing Big Data and predictive analytics services, tools, and analysis to the HR community. The Big Data for HR Consortium will support and elevate the inclusion of analytic capabilities within the human resource community through conversations about best practices, trends and common issues. Members meet monthly to explore the current and future challenges and opportunities of helping HR become an evidence-based, data-driven function. “Both HR suppliers and analysts need a meeting place to discuss the many unique challenges of Big Data for HR,” said David Bernstein, vice president of eQuest’s Big Data for HR division. “In the midst of conflicting definitions and confusion in the HR marketplace, the consortium’s goal will be to first develop a common definition and to then clearly articulate predictive analytics’ real value to the HR community.”
