Diversified Search Names Dale Jones as President

September 17, 2013 – Diversified Search has named Dale E. Jones as president and a member of the firm's executive committee. Mr. Jones comes to Diversified Search following 14 years with Heidrick & Struggles, and nearly 20 years in the recruiting industry. In his new role, he will serve as one of the key market facing leaders in advancing the CEO and board of directors practices of Diversified Search. He will also help to implement a three-year strategic plan in accordance with the firm’s executive committee. “Dale brings vast experience, strategic vision and incredible leadership to our business. In addition to his success in the industry, he also has a wealth of expertise and a comprehensive network stemming from his board memberships, global humanitarian efforts and civic involvement,” said Judith M. von Seldeneck, founder, chairman and CEO of Diversified Search. “This combination of business acumen and unique experience make Dale an ideal fit as president of the company.” Mr. Jones serves on the board of directors at Kohl's Corp and Northwestern Mutual Insurance Company. He is also a trustee for Morehouse College and Princeton Theological Seminary. Gordon Hawthorne, who previously held the position of president, will assume the role of vice chairman at Diversified Search.
