CTPartners’ Veteran Joins Russell Reynolds Associates

March 13, 2015 – New York-based Russell Reynolds Associates has named Ernest ‘Ernie’ W. Brittingham as a managing director in the firm’s healthcare practice. Mr. Brittingham joins from CTPartners where he spent the last 16 years of his career, serving most recently as a vice chairman. While at CTPartners, Mr. Brittingham managed a diverse portfolio of the firm’s largest client relationships across the life sciences spectrum, including those in medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology tools, and medical technology where he engaged culturally compatible, impactful leaders. His clients have ranged from private equity-owned companies to the Fortune 500; he has completed CEO, COO, president, GM and other senior-level functional and business unit executive positions in North America, Europe and Asia. He also led a long-term collaboration with a company which placed more than 150 leaders globally and increased its revenue from $5 billion to $20 billion. Mr. Brittingham is the second high-level recruiter to depart CTPartners for a larger rival in recent days; earlier this week Daniel Kaplan left to join Heidrick & Struggles as a co-managing partner of that firm’s chief human resources officer (CHRO) practice.
