WinterWyman Executive Search Places the VP, Internal Audit at Driscoll’s

NEW YORK, June 19, 2017 — WinterWyman Executive Search has placed Brett Hennie, CPA as Vice President of Internal Audit at Driscoll’s, a global market leader in the fresh berry category. WinterWyman Executive Search’s Senior Vice President and Partner Robin Daman led the search.

As Driscoll’s Vice President of Internal Audit, Hennie will report to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors as well as to the Chief Financial Officer. He will be responsible for setting the vision for the audit function in alignment with the Company’s strategic plan. Additionally, he will play a critical role in co-leading the Company’s Enterprise Risk Management program.

Before joining Driscoll’s, Hennie held progressive roles within KAO Corporation, a Tokyo-based $14 billion manufacturer of chemicals and consumer products, where he created and led all aspects of the company’s internal audit department for the Americas, EMEA and Oceania regions.

Previously, he spent several years with Deloitte where he managed and executed several internal audit and consulting projects for numerous clients within the construction, real estate, manufacturing, and consumer products industries across the United States, Mexico, Europe and Asia.

Earlier in his career, Hennie was the Corporate Controller of Fortress Products, a multi-million privately-owned manufacturer and importer of textiles and leather goods.
