Valley International Airport Works With ADK to Recruit Director of Aviation

ADK Consulting & Executive Search, a retained recruitment firm known for its expertise in senior executive searches in the aviation industry, announced the successful placement of Tony Nevarez, C.M., as Director of Aviation for Valley International Airport (HRL). Mr. Nevarez will provide strategic leadership and overall management of operations, financial performance, and long-term development of the airport.

Mr. Nevarez brings more than 22 years of progressive airport management and aviation leadership experience at El Paso International Airport (ELP). Prior to joining HRL, he served as Director of Aviation for ELP, where he provided executive leadership for airport operations, safety, security, airline and tenant relations, real estate, facility development, budgets and regulatory compliance. He previously served as Assistant Director of Aviation Operations & Security, Airport Operations Manager, Airport Security Coordinator and Airport Operations Supervisor, building extensive expertise in FAA Part 139 and TSA compliance, emergency management, airfield operations, security, technology modernization and stakeholder collaboration.

Mr. Nevarez earned a bachelor’s degree in Professional Aviation from Louisiana Tech University. He is a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives.
