The U.S. Department of State’s Foreign Service Institute retains JDG

ROCKVILLE, MD, Sep. 27, 2018 – JDG Associates has been once again retained by the Department of State’s Foreign Service Institute (FSI) to identify the following 4 senior executives:

Associate Dean, School of Professional and Area Studies
Dean, Leadership and Management School
Division Director, Language Testing Unit
Division Director, Near East, Central and South Asian Languages

Created in 1947, FSI is the primary training institution for the U.S. Government foreign affairs community.  With 1500 staff, a budget of $250M, and a 72-acre campus in Arlington, VA, FSI is comprised of four schools and a transition center: (Leadership and Management, Professional and Area Studies, Applied Information Technology, Language Studies, Center for the Study of the Conduct of Diplomacy, and the Transition Center).

With approximately 800 courses (on campus and online), including some 70 foreign languages, FSI enables individuals in developing foreign policy and national security strategy, leading diplomatic operations around the world and producing outcomes that best serve the interests of our country.
