The Talent Studios Adds Three to Its Growing Team

The business to consumer-focused firm launches its Talent Management Practice and builds on its core Executive Search Practice.

Renée Motley has joined The Talent Studios as Associate Partner to lead its Talent & Performance Management Practice. As a natural complement to its leadership search business, the firm will be able to offer tools around assessment, onboarding, high-performance team facilitation and succession planning. Renée began her career in investing at J.P. Morgan and worked in growth consumer investing before joining fintech platform, Robinhood Markets ($24B market cap), leading internal business and operational efficiencies efforts prior to its IPO in July 2021. Renée holds a B.A. from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Gretchen Koch has joined The Talent Studios as an Associate Partner of its executive search practice. Gretchen joins the firm from Russell Reynolds Associates, where she was a member of the Customer Activation & Growth executive search practice, focused on omnichannel consumer brands, digital marketplaces and B2C edutech. Prior to search, Grechen was a brand executive at Peet’s Coffee and Nestle and began her careeer consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers and then spent three years at top retail/consumer strategy consultancy firm, Kurt Salmon & Associates. She holds a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) and an MBA from Northwestern University (Kellogg).

Elisa Kay (E.K.) joined The Talent Studios as an executive search Senior Associate. E.K. began her search career at top-tier boutique, Charles Aris Executive Search, focused on retail/consumer, fashion and strategy leadership search work. She supported Partners on the execution of multiple CEO searches and cross-functional executive hires. She then joined apparel brand portfolio Kontoor, following its divestiture from VF Corporation in 2022, conducting talent searches across commercial, infrastructure and product roles. E.K. was a NCAA Division 1 athlete (Rowing) at The Ohio State University and competes nationally on the Hunter/Jumper equestrian circuit with notoriety.
