The St. Johns County Airport Authority Works With ADK to Recruit Executive Director

ADK Consulting & Executive Search, a retained recruitment firm known for its expertise in senior executive searches in the aviation industry, announced the successful placement of Courtney Pittman as Executive Director of St. Augustine Airport (SGJ) after serving as Interim Director. In this role, Mr. Pittman will lead the management, operation, and long-term strategic development of one of Florida’s fastest-growing general aviation and aerospace centers.

Mr. Pittman brings nearly 30 years of aviation leadership experience. He has overseen major airport expansion projects, including new hangars and infrastructure improvements that have boosted jobs and economic growth. Prior to joining the Airport Authority, Pittman served as Air Traffic Manager at both St. Augustine Airport and Gainesville Regional Airport with Robinson Aviation, and as an Air Traffic Control Specialist at Jacksonville Executive at Craig Airport. He also completed a distinguished 20-year career with the U.S. Navy, where he served as Airport Manager at Isa Air Base in Bahrain and led aviation operations across seven domestic and international airfields.

Mr. Pittman received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Trident University International. He is a member of the Tony Jannus Distinguished Aviation Society.
