(Sept. 2021) Executive search firm The Loring Group, played a vital role in the recruitment of Victor Saldanha, as the new Chief Lending Officer at Business Impact NW. This search was led by Rich Kampmann, a Partner at TLG.
Business Impact NW is one of the leading non-profit community development financial and business assistance organizations in the Pacific Northwest. Their mission is to promote the economic development of marginalized communities by offering access to capital, training, and support to grow small businesses throughout Oregon and Washington State.
Victor is a seasoned lender and a thoughtful leader who brings compassion and efficiency to work every day. He and his family have greatly benefited from the generosity of others, and he wants to give back and do good for people that need it the most.
Business Impact NW needed something different than a traditional retained search that takes months to complete. “Companies in today’s fast paced hiring environment are losing desired candidates in the interview process because the job market is so hot” says the Managing Partner of TLG, Steve Caliger. With crisis being the mother of invention, The Loring Group created a new “Agile Search Model” that allows clients to complete a retained search, with all diligence, in 6 to 8 weeks. Caliger commented that “we have clients interviewing candidates within 2 to 3 weeks which puts them in control of the talent pool, versus having it be dictated by others. We have recently completed two C-level searches within 56 days or less using our ‘Agile Search Model’ and our clients are thrilled!”
Mr. Saldanha joins Business Impact NW with over 17 years of leadership experience in the lending industry in the Pacific Northwest. He serves on several nonprofit Boards focused on helping first generation immigrants and is committed to working with businesses in underbanked communities.
TLG was founded in 2019 by former Stanton Chase partners Steve Caliger and Rich Kampmann. Rich brings 15 plus years of executive search and leadership consulting expertise to his client organizations and has 14 years of hands-on leadership experience in the banking and financial services arena. He has performed hundreds of searches for companies worldwide at the executive and senior management levels, has advocated for commercial and private banks, and currently successfully supports Fintech, Consumer Products, Industrial and Non-Profit companies. Rich supports many non-profit organizations in the San Francisco community. He recently completed ten-years on the Board of the Pomeroy Recreation and Rehabilitation Center that served people with disabilities and was a Member of the Admissions Committee at the Olympic Club.
