The Loring Group, a San Francisco-based retained executive search firm, recently placed the Global Vice President of Finance for Kendo Brands with the placement of Lauren Festante. The search was led by Rich Kampmann, a Partner at TLG.
Kendo Holdings is a San Francisco-based beauty brand developer and wholesaler owned by LVMH, Moët Hennessy – Louis Vuitton, the world’s largest luxury group. Lauren will oversee global Financial Planning and Analysis and partner closely with the LVMH head offices in Paris and New York.
Before joining Kendo, Lauren was with L’Oreal for over 14 years in various roles, including Interim VP and AVP of Commercial Finance. She was also VP of Finance for NYX Professional makeup and most recently the Head of Corporate Finance and Accounting with dosist, a Health and Wellness Company. Lauren has her Bachelor of Arts in Finance and International Business from Penn State University and lived and worked abroad in for L’Oreal.
Based in San Francisco, CA, Ms. Festante will report directly to Kendo’s Chief Financial Officer Walter Fischer in San Francisco and oversee a growing team of 20+ employees based in San Francisco and Paris. “Lauren will provide financial leadership to support Kendo’s dynamic growth and fiscal discipline and rigor that will continue to drive the company’s profitability and success,” says Mr. Kampmann.

Rich Kampmann brings 15 plus years of executive search and leadership development expertise to his client organizations. Before recruiting, Rich had 14 years of leadership experience with major Banks and Financial Services companies. He started his executive search career with Korn Ferry, then moved to Boyden International and Stanton Chase, where he met Steve and the rest of the TLG team. He has performed hundreds of searches for companies worldwide at the executive and senior management levels and specialized in the Consumer Products, Finance and Fintech arena for the last five years.
