The Global FoodBanking Network Retains Hanold Associates for Head of HR Search

CHICAGO (Dec. 1, 2020) – The Global FoodBanking Network (GFN), an international non-profit organization nourishing communities around the world, has retained Hanold Associates for its Head of Human Resources search. Sonia Nagra and Sandra Peña are leading the search for this Chicago-based role.

The Head of Human Resources will lead all matters related to talent and report directly to GFN’s Chief Financial Officer, as well as work closely with the organization’s President and CEO. As GFN continues its aggressive growth trajectory, this role will be responsible for building an HR function that is capable of supporting that growth through scalable processes and practices.

This search is being launched during a high-growth period of GFN’s history. In less than four years, GFN has grown from a $2 million to a $20+ million organization and doubled its employee base. Founded in 2006, GFN connects food banking organizations in more than 40 countries that together serve more than 16.9 million people annually. In 2019, these people were provided with 1.4 billion meals through a network of more than 56,000 social service and community-based organizations.
