Welcoming Our New Partner: Sheharyar Khan

We’re excited to share an important update on the evolution of our firm. Sheharyar Khan has joined The Energists as Partner, bringing with him a rare combination of technical depth, commercial experience, and global leadership that aligns directly with how we serve clients and how we operate as a team.

Sheharyar’s career spans more than twenty years across energy, industrials, and technology‑enabled organizations. He has held senior roles with Baker Hughes, PwC, Sensia, and Schlumberger, leading initiatives in due diligence, commercial strategy, M&A, operational excellence, and organizational transformation. His work supporting both corporate and private equity clients gives him a practical understanding of how leadership decisions translate into real‑world performance.

What stood out to us — beyond the résumé — is his systems‑driven mindset. Sheharyar has built and led teams in environments where precision, documentation, and cross‑functional alignment are non‑negotiable. His background in engineering research, financial modeling, and quality management fits naturally with our evidence‑based, ISO‑aligned approach to executive search.

He also brings a global perspective shaped by working across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. That perspective matters. Our clients are navigating complex transitions — in energy systems, in technology adoption, and in workforce expectations. Sheharyar understands these dynamics not as abstract trends, but as operational realities.
