The Cheyenne Regional Airport Board Partners with ADK to Recruit Director of Aviation

ANNOUNCEMENT | May 5, 2026

ADK Consulting & Executive Search, a retained recruitment firm known for its expertise in senior executive searches in the aviation industry, partnered with The Cheyenne Regional Airport Board to recruit William “Doug” Bullock, A.A.E., as Director of Aviation.

In this role, Mr. Bullock will be responsible for the oversight and administration of all facets of airport owned facilities, including day-to-day operations of Cheyenne Regional Airport (CYS).

Mr. Bullock brings more than twenty-eight years of experience in the aviation industry; he is extremely well-versed in establishing the strategic direction and driving high-performing teams with extensive knowledge of principles and practices of modern airport management. Most recently, he was the Airport Manager for Carbon County Airport where he led capital improvement projects and increased airport revenue year over year. Previously, he was the Airport Security Coordinator and Superintendent of Security and Safety for Mobile Regional Airport where he helped acquire new service and worked as a team member to help design the new terminal in Downtown Mobile.

Mr. Bullock earned his bachelor’s degree in Aviation Business Administration from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and his master’s degree in Aviation Management from Utah State University. He is an Accredited Member (A.A.E.) of the American Association of Airport Executives and an Adjunct Faculty Member of Utah State University.
