Synaptic Medical Appoints Robert Ricker as Vice President of US Commercialization

LAKE FOREST, Calif., October 24, 2019 – Synaptic Medical, a medical device company that focuses on developing breakthrough products for the treatment of arrhythmias and other cardiovascular diseases, today announced that Robert C. Ricker has been appointed Vice President of US Commercialization. Mr. Ricker’s broad executive experience in the cardiovascular industry are invaluable to the future success of Synaptic.

Robert Ricker most recently served as senior vice president for Asahi Intecc. In this role, Mr. Ricker’s responsibilities included founding and leading all commercial functions, and commercial performance of the coronary, peripheral, and neurovascular segments. Prior to that, Mr. Ricker had roles of increasing responsibility within Asahi Intecc as well as positions with Abbott Vascular.

Robert received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Salisbury State University in Maryland, and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
