Sumio Saito Joins Korn Ferry as Senior Client Partner

TOKYO, Japan, October 14, 2015 — Korn Ferry (NYSE:KFY), the preeminent global people and organizational advisory firm, today announced that Sumio Saito has joined the firm as Senior Client Partner in the Consumer practice, where he will focus on the consumer goods, media & entertainment, and retail & luxury sectors. He will be based in Korn Ferry’s Tokyo office.

Mr. Saito joins Korn Ferry from another global executive search firm, where he was the country manager and headed the consumer practice for Japan. With more than 15 years of broad executive search experience for C-suite positions at multinational companies, Mr. Saito also has extensive leadership assessment experience for senior executives at Japanese companies.

Prior to executive search, Mr. Saito held various senior management roles at PepsiCo Japan including marketing, sales planning, sales and franchise planning. He started his career as a design engineer at Nissan Motor Company, followed by a strategic management consultant position at Yahagi Consultants.

Mr. Saito holds a master of international management from American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). He also received a master of engineering and bachelor of engineering from Waseda University.
