SRi to Begin Search for Perth Stadium Chief Executive Officer

LONDON, July 1, 2016 — As excitement builds toward the opening of Perth Stadium in early 2018, leading executive search consultancy SRi, has been appointed by VenuesLive Management Services (VenuesLive) to lead the search for the new stadium’s Chief Executive Officer.

Experienced Australian venue management company VenuesLive (formerly Stadium Australia Operations) was yesterday officially appointed as Operator of the stadium. Managing Director of VenuesLive, Mr Daryl Kerry, commented, “We are thrilled to take on the responsibility as Operator of Perth Stadium, which will be one of the great stadiums of the world when it opens for business.

“Perth Stadium and the surrounding Sports Precinct will be an outstanding venue for Perth – a Stadium that the people of WA can be proud of and one that will attract world-class events and thousands of visitors to Perth and WA.”

Beginning immediately, SRi will work closely with VenuesLive to conduct a global search that identifies the best possible candidate for the Chief Executive Officer role. They will then operate on a partnership basis with the VenuesLive management team to support the recruitment of key members of the management team for Perth Stadium as the team builds throughout the remainder of 2016 and into early 2017. Perth Stadium will be a multi-purpose venue capable of hosting AFL, cricket, football, rugby union, rugby league and entertainment events. It will have a capacity of 60,000 with a fans-first approach in its design and technology infrastructure.
