SPMB Announces New Partner Natalie Ryan

(Sept. 2021) SPMB is pleased to announce and congratulate our newest Partner, Natalie Ryan.

Natalie leads SPMB’s Southern California team and places key executive leaders across North America with disruptive growth-stage technology companies, as well as public organizations seeking innovation at scale. Throughout her career, she has successfully completed hundreds of searches for high profile clients in both enterprise and consumer technology.

Natalie is passionate about solving challenging business problems through talent acquisition and building long-term trusted relationships with her clients and candidates. She typically partners with clients by leading multiple C-level and VP strategic projects over time. This has allowed her to intimately understand the inner workings, unique cultural dynamics, and business problems her clients face. During her time at SPMB, Natalie has benefited from this approach and gained a wide breadth of functional expertise, knowledge of organizational design and optimization, and the ability to enhance client and candidate experience while shortening search cycle times.

Mike Doonan, a Managing Partner at SPMB, adds:

“Natalie is a shining example of the culture we’ve all worked so hard to build over the years – one of collaboration, self-improvement, support for teammates, grit, resilience, smarts, diversity of thought and an obsession with client success.”

Please join us in congratulating Natalie.

Natalie holds a BA in English Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she graduated Cum Laude in just three years. Before joining SPMB, Natalie was a Principal for a San Francisco recruiting organization leading VP to C-level searches for Venture and PE-backed technology organizations across the country. She started her career as a recruiting consultant at an international recruiting firm listed on the London Stock Exchange. When she’s not closing searches, you’ll find her battling it out on a tennis court, hiking in Griffith Park, or hosting a game night with her husband.
