Slone Partners Healthcare Executive Search Places David Rappaport at OraSure Technologies as SVP Business Development

BOSTON, MA, May 01, 2018  – Slone Partners, North America’s leading executive search firm for life sciences and diagnostics companies, announces the placement of David Rappaport at OraSure Technologies as Senior Vice President, Business Development. Mr. Rappaport will be based at the Company’s headquarters in Bethlehem, PA.

Publicly-traded OraSure Technologies (NASDAQ: OSUR) develops, manufactures and distributes fourteen distinct oral fluid diagnostics and collection devices, cryosurgical products, and other technologies to detect or diagnose critical medical conditions. These products include the OraQuick® In-Home HIV Test, OraQuick ADVANCE® Rapid HIV-1/2 Antibody Test, and oral fluid testing solutions for drug abuse, including the Q.E.D.® Saliva Alcohol Test. Prior to OraSure Technologies, Mr. Rappaport was Senior Vice President, Healthcare Investment Banking at Raymond James & Associates, where he provided investment banking services in the Life Sciences practice group. Mr. Rappaport received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and an MBA from Emory University.
