Siloam Health Retains KEES to Lead Search for Its Next President & Chief Executive Officer

Nonprofit and public sector executive search firm KEES has been retained to find the next President & Chief Executive Officer for Siloam Health. Siloam Health is a faith-based, charitably funded nonprofit organization that provides affordable, high-quality, whole-person health care to the uninsured and underserved in Middle Tennessee, health promotion among Nashville’s immigrant and refugee populations, and student education for the next generation of health care providers. KEES President and CEO Heather Eddy and Project Manager Megan Taylor will lead the search following the successful tenure and upcoming departure of the organization’s current leader, Dr. Morgan Wills, as he joins the faculty of the Thomas F. Frist Jr. College of Medicine at Belmont University.

Siloam Health’s Search Committee selected KEES after reviewing and connecting with several nationwide recommendations. “Our search committee was pleased to select KEES as our search partner of choice. KEES was a unanimous choice and we look forward to working with the entire KEES team on this important search,” said Sammye Woods, Chair, Siloam Health Board of Directors.

As a premier executive search firm, KEES specializes in executive searches for top executive positions such as Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director, and President roles and has a successful history of placing accomplished nonprofit executives nationwide. This partnership builds upon KEES’ executive search history and expanding relationships with faith-focused nonprofit organizations, individual Christian healthcare professionals, and clinics across the Christian Community Health Fellowship (CCHF) network. CCHF is a community of Christian healthcare professionals who are committed to living out the gospel through healthcare among the poor and KEES is pleased to continue supporting these important missions.

“We are honored to have been selected by the Search Committee,” states Heather Eddy. “Our executive search and consulting efforts continually result in successful hires across the country, and with this recent partnership, we will continue driving forward the important missions and ministries of Siloam Health.”

About SILOAM HEALTH

Siloam Health is a dynamic, multi-site healthcare organization that has served Nashville’s uninsured and underserved—especially the immigrant and refugee communities–since 1991. Today, nearly 90% of patients and clients are born outside the United States, representing more than 80 homelands and speaking more than 70 languages. A faith-based, religiously chartered organization with a budget of $6 million, Siloam is the second largest charitably funded nonprofit health center in the state of Tennessee and has played a leadership role in Tennessee’s refugee medical screening program for almost two decades. Siloam’s work is accomplished by 65 staff, over 400 volunteers annually, and dozens of partner churches, hospital systems, and other organizations. Medical care is offered at two locations: a comprehensive primary care clinic located in Melrose and a walk-in, limited primary care clinic located in Antioch. Community Health Workers and volunteers through the Nashville Neighbors program attend to the social determinants of health by promoting self-efficacy, health literacy, and health system navigation skills among local immigrant and refugee communities. Siloam clinicians also regularly mentor dozens of students and residents annually through custom coursework, clinical rotations, and internships. For more information, visit www.siloamhealth.org.
