Signium Belgium welcomes Valérie Schmitt as Leadership Consulting Partner

[Brussels, 2 September 2026 ] — Signium Belgium is pleased to announce that Valérie Schmitt has joined the team as Leadership Consulting Partner. She will support executive leaders and teams at pivotal moments, helping them navigate change and succeed in complex environments.

Drawing on more than 25 years in senior corporate roles, Valérie brings first-hand experience of the challenges leaders face. Her approach is grounded in a strong belief that individuals and organizations thrive when people are able to fulfil their potential, take ownership and benefit from different perspectives.

International experience at the heart of transformation

Throughout her international career, Valérie has been at the heart of business and cultural transformation, working with individuals and teams to turn change into lasting progress. She combines strategic thinking with a pragmatic and collaborative approach, encouraging engagement and ownership while creating the conditions for people to develop and perform at their best.

Most recent experience — Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer and VP HR EMEA at Aliaxis.

International career — Senior roles with global corporations including ABB and Travelport.

Education and international outlook

Valérie holds an MBA from London Business School and Columbia University and is currently working towards the ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) accreditation. A native French speaker, she is bilingual in English, fluent in German, speaks Spanish and is currently learning Japanese.

Her curiosity about different cultures and ways of seeing the world also feeds her passion for travel. She enjoys hiking and has a particular interest in animal welfare and environmental issues.
