Sheffield Haworth Expands its Financial Services Presence on the U.S. West Coast with Appointment of Gene Swift

(April 2021) Sheffield Haworth is delighted to welcome Gene Swift as a Director to the firm’s Global Banking practise based in Los Angeles. Partnering with Julian Bell, Head of Sheffield Haworth USA and Global Co-Head of Global Banking, and Rhona Gibson, Director Global Banking and US Lead for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Gene will also join Sam Wallace, Managing Director, Consulting, Technology & Services, and others in the new and growing Sheffield Haworth regional hub in Los Angeles.

Gene was previously Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing and Communications at Wells Fargo Capital Finance, the market-leading specialized lending, factoring, supply chain and trade finance arm of Wells Fargo, with operations across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Gene has also held line and staff roles in corporate finance at FINOVA Capital Corporation and also previously worked as an independent consultant and in the film and television industry. In his role at Sheffield Haworth, Gene will focus on corporate and commercial banking, retail financial services, asset-based lending (ABL) and factoring, structured and project finance, alternative and non-bank lending, and in a variety of other areas in finance and generally broaden and strengthen Sheffield Haworth’s North American capabilities in these spaces.
