Savannah Group Launches on Invenias

LONDON, U.K., July 1, 2017 – Invenias, the leading cloud-based platform for executive and strategic hiring, announced today that the 100th search firm to migrate from FileFinder to Invenias is the newly launching Savannah Group. Launching on June 1st, Savannah (formerly known as Boyden UK), was part of the wider Boyden international network specialising in Executive Search and Interim Management. The team of fifty people is setting itself up independently as a challenger brand and will use the Invenias platform to give its consultants, clients and candidates a better experience.

The team includes twenty highly experienced partners that are all deep specialists in their chosen fields, working with FTSE 100, Fortune 500, FTSE 100, 250, Public Sector and PE backed businesses. At Boyden UK, they used the FileFinder solution but recognised the need for a more agile system that improved the accuracy and efficiency of their day-to-day operations, whilst offering quicker and easier reporting. After a wide-ranging review of the latest technology available, they unanimously selected the Invenias Platform.

John Ellis, Managing Partner, commented, “Savannah combines the personal, bespoke experience of a boutique with the global reach of a larger search firm. Recognising that the executive search sector needs to adapt and capitalise on the digital age, Savannah will focus on empowering business leadership teams and offering a better client and candidate experience.

To deliver on that promise we need best-in-class systems and technology. I firmly believe that in a rapidly changing and competitive market, Invenias will give us an edge as we continue to work efficiently and transparently with clients to help them source business critical talent. We are excited to be the 100th Firm to have moved from FileFinder to Invenias, and to benefit from the experience that Invenias has developed which enabled the quick and smooth migration of our data.”

With Invenias designing their software to integrate closely with the Microsoft Office suite, Ellis noted that the seamless integration with Outlook and workflow “was a bonus to users.” Cross-team integration and accessible reporting are repeatedly on a top firm’s must-have list when it comes to choosing a platform. Ellis adds: “Clients understandably want regular updates on progress, and we have always prided ourselves on the quality, thoroughness and regularity of the reports we send. This level of reporting does, however, require a large amount of internal resource, so we were looking for a way to maintain that level of quality while making the process more efficient. The Invenias platform greatly improves the reporting process, which frees up a significant amount of my team’s time.”

Before Savannah could start using the Invenias Platform, it had to migrate over fifty current users, as well as the entirety of the Search Firm’s data. It’s a process Ellis described as “straightforward, even though the firm only gave Invenias two months to complete the task.” Ellis said: “We’ve been impressed by the way the migration project was carried out. The smooth process was critical when trying to minimise business impact, in such a short space of time.”

Ellis continued: “We offer our clients global reach and deep expertise in their specialist areas, integrated search and interim practices, and access to what we consider to be the top 10% of global talent. I firmly believe that in a rapidly changing and competitive market, Invenias will give us an edge, allowing us to work efficiently and transparently with clients to help them source business critical talent.”

David Grundy, CEO, Invenias said: “There is a great affinity between the vision of our two companies and a recognition that there is a real desire from clients and candidates to do things differently. Like Savannah Group we wanted to bring change and show people that there is an alternative way of working that can deliver real value. We’re delighted to be working with Savannah and look forward to continuing to be part of their company story as they grow.”
