Safelite AutoGlass Retains Hanold Associates for HR Leadership Searches

Safelite AutoGlass has retained Hanold Associates for their Director of People, Midwest Region and Director of People, Southeast Region, searches. Ashley Schiele and Katrina Prospero are leading the assignment.

Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, the company operates more than 7,800 Mobile Glass Shops and 600 stores in all 50 states, with approximately 15,000 associates nationwide. Safelite continues to expand and has ambitions to grow more than 50% in the next 4 years. To support this growth moving into the future, talent management will be a key area of focus for the organization.

Reporting to the AVP of People, each Director of People will partner with the business and People and Leadership Development (PLD) team to drive the people strategy and all issues related to organizational design, talent management, performance management and workforce planning in the region. These newly created roles will lead and support the People Business Partner teams, business leaders and field management teams regarding all associate and labor relations matters, including the negotiation, administration, interpretation of the company’s collective bargaining agreements (as needed) to ensure the company maintains effective and aligned associate relations across all locations.

Safelite’s Midwest region includes Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Colorado, while the Southeast region is comprised of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas. This new leader may sit anywhere within their respective regions, with access to a major airport, and will be expected to travel 50-75% of the time.
