Robert Willig Joins Stoneridge, Inc. as President, Control Devices

NOVI, MI, November 1, 2017 – Stoneridge, Inc. [NYSE: SRI] is pleased to announce that Robert “Bob” Willig has joined the company as President, Control Devices.  Stoneridge designs and manufactures highly engineered electrical and electronic components and systems for the global automotive and commercial vehicle sectors. Bob is a Detroit native, and brings to the role a Bachelor’s in Mechanical System Design from Lawrence Technological University, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Wayne State University.

Most recently, Bob served as Chief Executive Officer for Plasan Carbon Composites, an automotive supplier of carbon and class A appearance parts. Prior to Plasan, Bob spent six years with GKN, leading their Sinter Americas business, and then Driveline Americas business, respectively. Bob started his career with Gates Rubber, where he spent 21 years in sales, engineering, marketing, and P&L leadership roles.
