NIEL, BELGIUM, February 13, 2018 – Recently Rialto Recruitment, located in the UA Science Park Waterfront and specialized in technical and scientific profiles, opened a second office in the C-Mine Crib Incubator in Genk. In addition, Rialto obtained the new FEDERGON RSS quality label.
Rialto Recruitment originated from Atlantae 17 years ago and the merger in 2012 with Egeminplus. With a nod to the famous bridge in Venice, Rialto wants to bridge the gap between employers and employees on the one hand and between academia and industry on the other.
Rialto’s now 10-strong team focuses on the market for shortage occupations, say difficult profiles such as engineers. And that need for experienced engineers is going to become even more urgent in the coming years. For example, DEME is currently looking for 450 engineers.
Search until the assignment is completed
“We specialize in active search, recruitment and selection and temporary employment contracts with (technical) Bachelors, professional and academic Masters (Ing / Ir), and academic profiles (PhD)”, says Patrick Van Lijsebetten. When Rialto receives a question from a customer, it searches for the suitable candidate to be found, no matter how long the search takes.
Patrick Van Lijsebetten: “We do not only have a conversation with the client, but with different people in the company. For example, we taste the atmosphere and we get a very good picture of the function and the possibilities for the candidate to build something up within the company. Our consultants make a scan of the company and check whether the CV and the competencies of the candidate match the job description.
We do this on the basis of in-depth interviews, psychotechnical and cognitive tests. For candidates who have been working for 25 years, the diploma is less relevant, but the competences and potential are all the more important. ”
Ethics and deontology are of paramount importance
Ethics and deontology are among the basic values for Rialto that has signed the FEDERGON charter. On an interim basis Lloyd’s can do a follow-up audit in the context of the new FEDERGON RSS quality label which was recently achieved. This label may become a requirement for participating in tenders. For example, in the next four years Thomas More hogeschool entrusted search assignments to staff staff for his seven campuses to Rialto. Currently there are three vacancies for ICT engineers on the campuses Mechelen and Geel.
To fulfill the assignments of international clients, since 2016 Rialto has been exclusively Belgian partner of the worldwide IMSA International Executive Search network that is active in 25 countries.
