Robin Judson, former Managing Director and Partner at Smith Hanley Associates, is the ultimate authority on professional recruiting in the investment bankingsector. For over 25 years, Robin has been a trusted advisor to hundreds of investment banks, hedge funds, private equity firms, real estate funds, asset management firms and other Wall Street Companies.
Robin has a wealth of knowledge across a broad range of disciplines, with a particular focus on credit and distressed research, emerging markets and Latin American investing, long short equity research, special situations, M&A, corporate finance, restructuring advisory and investment banking. She has enjoyed a long track record of success in placing banking and investment professionals at all levels, from the most junior analyst to the portfolio manager.
Robin takes pride in being “in-the-know” and draws upon her extensive network of professional relationships and years of work experience. Prior to joining Smith Hanley, Robin was a research analyst in the Economics Department of Merrill Lynch where she advised senior management of major transportation companies as well as Merrill’s Equity Research and Investment Banking Groups.
Robin earned a Masters degree in City and Regional Planning from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in sociology from Vassar College. She also attended NYU Graduate School of Business. Robin belongs to 100 Women in Hedge Funds, Financial Women’s Association and is a founding member of Impact 100 – Westchester.
