Neela Seenandan

Co-CEO & Managing Partner

Neela is the co-CEO & Managing Partner at Hanold Associates Executive Search and leads the firm’s HR Advisory Practice. Neela provides CEO and Board counsel and leads interim Chief HR Officer roles, serving clients such as The New York Times, North Highland, Madison Dearborn, and Save the Children.

She joined from Nielsen, where she served as SVP of HR for North America Consumer. Neela was responsible for driving the strategic talent agenda, including recruiting, compensation, talent management and diversity, equity & inclusion.

Prior to Nielsen, Neela had a progressive career within Aon Corporation, having initially served as VP of Executive Talent, and then Head of HR for Aon Re Global. After Aon’s acquisition of Benfield, Neela ran the global HR integration of Aon Benfield, and then the HR integration of Aon and Hewitt Associates and then served as the Global Head of HR for the integrated business.

Before then, Neela was with McKinsey & Company where she led Professional Development for what is now McKinsey Digital, North America. Neela worked closely with the senior leadership team McKinsey focused on executive development and partner performance coaching.

Originating in London, England, Neela started her career in executive search with Michael Page in the United Kingdom and Prague, Czech Republic.

Neela earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Newcastle University in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. She’s active with her family and a strong supporter of numerous charities.
