Jason is the CEO & Managing Partner of Hanold Associates, the leading retained boutique executive search firm specializing in Human Resources leadership recruiting. He serves a client roster that includes Patagonia, Nike, eBay, Cummins, Kohler, REI, Google, Riddell, Fossil, Carnival Corporation, the UFC, Blue Apron, Amazon, Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority, Vail Resorts, Abbott, Biogen, Great Place to Work, Electronic Arts, Godiva, Fiat-Chrysler, Bridgestone, Northwestern University, Heinz, Warburg Pincus, Medtronic, Zurich, Wikipedia, T. Rowe Price and SC Johnson, among others.

Before launching Hanold Associates, Jason was a Managing Director with Russell Reynolds Associates where he was the leader the firm’s Global Human Resources Officer Practice and was a member of the Board of Directors and CEO Practices.

Prior to Russell Reynolds Associates, Jason led the Global Talent Acquisition for Whirlpool Corporation. Preceding Whirlpool, he was the Director of Recruiting with McKinsey & Company charged with direct-elect partner hiring and based in the firm-wide headquarters in New York. Prior to McKinsey & Company, he was the Americas Director of Global Leadership Recruiting at Deloitte. He started his career with State Farm Insurance companies in claims operations, progressing into broader human resources roles.

Jason is in the University of Pennsylvania’s Chief Learning Officer Program where he is pursuing his doctoral degree in education. He earned his Master of Science degree from Northwestern University and his Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University.

Jason serves on the National Advisory Council for Big City Mountaineers where he was a two-term board member and Chairman of the Nominating and Governance Committee. He serves the United States Olympic Committee as a Team USA Athlete Mentor. Also, Jason is a lifetime member of the Association of Talent Acquisition Professionals.
