Heather Eddy

For over 22 years, Heather Eddy has worked with nonprofits and institutions to build capacity by strengthening executives, boards, managers and leaders in the nonprofit sector. She co-founded KEES, an executive search firm that works exclusively with nonprofits, in 2013 as an expansion of Alford Executive Search. She previously served for 17 years in multiple executive leadership roles with The Alford Group, a national consulting firm that partners with nonprofits and provides fundraising and organizational strategy consulting. As President and CEO of KEES, Heather and her team help organizations find leadership, transition to new eras of leadership (many after the departure of founder/founder-like leaders), ensure solid human resources/talent management practices, and promote cultures that help drive initiatives and the organization forward. As a frequent speaker, she increasingly contributes knowledge in the areas of strategic philanthropy, executive succession, and engagement of boards/governing bodies.
