Brian Porter

Brian is a Founding Partner at Charles Sterling Group and leader of the Infrastructure practice. He specializes in executive level audit, risk management, finance, operations, legal and compliance and technology positions.

Over the course of his twenty-year career in search, Brian has built senior management teams for domestic and global banks, asset managers and their service providers, insurance companies, hedge funds, and private equity firms. Brian’s insightful thought leadership and his team’s ability to execute senior engagements across all disciplines of the corporate infrastructure is unparalleled. He also serves as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to co-founding Charles Sterling Group in 2003, Brian was a Regional Director for one of the largest global search organizations. Brian helped develop and lead the company’s Financial Services Practice. During his tenure, he managed their largest producing office and was consistently ranked as a top performer nationally for the firm.

Prior to his career in executive search, Brian worked as an executive in the commercial banking and financial advisory business after earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Anselm College.
