Adam Bloom

President & CEO

Adam joined Stevenson in 2006 as a Director and within a year became Partner responsible for building the Life Sciences Practice. In 2010, he was named President and assumed full oversight of enterprise operations and administration. When Adam took the helm in 2010, he and his leadership team had grown Stevenson into a mid-sized firm focused exclusively on specialized therapeutic areas, technologies, and functions across the Life Sciences ecosystem.

While serving as CEO, Adam’s true passion is still in search, and he balances his operational work with managing a diverse portfolio of clients.

Prior to Stevenson, Adam was at Pfizer leading cross-functional searches for external executive talent and partnering with leaders across the matrixed organization on talent planning and organizational design. Earlier in his career, Adam ran his own search consultancy and spent several years with an executive search firm focused on the financial services industry.

Adam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Delaware and has professional certification in Human Resource Management from New York University.

When not navigating middle school math with his daughter, Adam spends his time playing in the wilderness of Upstate New York. There are even rumors (unconfirmed) that he has befriended a small herd of deer.
