Rachel Dreskin to Lead the Plant-Based Foods Association as New CEO

(March 2021) Kincannon and Reed’s managing directors, Paul Izenstark and Lisa Johnson congratulate Rachel Dreskin on her recent placement as CEO leading the Plant Based Foods Association (PBFA).

The Plant-Based Foods Association is the single most important trade organization representing the interests of over 190 plant-based food companies with a goal of building a strong foundation for the industry to succeed and thrive. PBFA works to expand market opportunities for this fast-growing sector of the food industry.

Prior to joining PBFA, Rachel served as the Executive Director of Compassion USA, and previously as US Head of Food Business where she oversaw the growth and development of the organization’s corporate engagement program. Her experience includes serving as Co-Chair of the Global Animal Partnership and Board Member of the Regenerative Organic Alliance.

Doug Radi, CEO, Good Karma Foods and Search Committee Chair, notes, “The team at Kincannon & Reed are true thought leaders and amazingly professional. Our entire process, from aligning on the scope, to candidate sourcing, to managing the process, was well managed and strategically led by the K&R team. We are thrilled with the outcome of our search and even more thankful that we partnered with Kincannon & Reed.” K&R is proud to partner with PBFA to recruit an outstanding leader to move their mission forward.
