Peter Ziparo joins Nexteer Automotive as Vice President and General Counsel

AUBURN HILLS, MI, December 2, 2106 — Nexteer Automotive announced today that Peter Ziparo joined the company as Vice President and General Counsel.  He joined Nexteer after 14 years of progressive legal experience at Visteon that culminated in his promotion to Vice President and General Counsel.  Prior to joining Visteon in 2002, Ziparo had been in New York City where he worked as a Corporate Associate for two prestigious law firms – Chadbourne & Parke LLP and Morrison & Foerster LLP.  Mr. Ziparo had joined Chadbourne & Parke LLP in 1994.

Ziparo brings to Nexteer a strong background in corporate M&A, public company legal and regulatory compliance, substantial commercial experience in Asia, and experience serving as a “business partner” to a CEO and corporate leadership team.  He earned his BA in Mathematics from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York and his JD from The Albany Law School of Union University.  He is a member of the New York Bar Association.
