Opus Advisors Welcomes 2 New Vice Presidents: Devlin Nemer and Alix Connors

NEW YORK, NY- April 24, 2017 – Opus Advisors is thrilled to welcome Devlin Nemer and Alix Connors to our team. Together they bring 25 years of knowledge and experience in the financial services industry.

Devlin Nemer, Vice President:

Devlin is based out of our San Francisco office. Prior to joining Opus, Devlin spent 15 years in the financial services sector researching specific market sectors, analyzing companies and helping them better communicate their story to all of their relevant stakeholders. Devlin began her career as a sell-side equity research analyst on Wall Street, working at UBS, DLJ and Morgan Joseph, covering a variety of sectors including technology, business services and industrials. She was then employed by ICR, a leading Investor Relations firm, for over 5 years, providing public and soon-to-be public companies with a wide range of capital markets consulting and communications services and strategies.

Devlin graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a BA in Political Science.

Alix Connors, Vice President:

Alix is based out of our New York office. Alix has spent the past decade in the recruiting profession with a primary focus on financial services. Prior to joining Opus, she spent two and a half years at Visium Asset Management, recruiting portfolio managers and investment analysts across different investment strategies and industry sectors, as well as other front office professionals. Earlier in her career, Alix worked for OneWire, an online recruiting platform focused on connecting financial professionals with career opportunities. Over her 5 year tenure, she managed many of the firm’s marque clients and participated in developing strategic partnerships. Alix began her career at Oppenheimer Funds as a member of the online marketing group.

Alix graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in French and Communications.
