Optimum Talent’s Momentum Continues with the Launch of Their New, Bilingual Career Management Portal

TORONTO, ON, CANADA, November 15, 2017  – Optimum Talent is thrilled to announce the launch of their new, bilingual career management portal designed to reduce the average length of an employee transition, minimize the emotional impact of the role departure, and equip users with the skills to manage their careers in today’s competitive business world.

“We have a solid reputation for delivering exceptional high-touch career transition programs. It’s where our roots are. But as our business grew and evolved, we understood that we needed to invest in a technology solution that could be used as a stand-alone service or as a complement to our high-touch experience,” said Mike Bacchus, Chief Executive Officer, Optimum Talent. “It took us over a year to find the right partner. There were a lot of options, but we didn’t want to go to market with the same old thing. We wanted something unique. Something our clients hadn’t seen before and that we could customize to meet their needs. We found that in CareerJSM.”

The Optimum Talent Career Management Portal is a cloud-based platform powered by CareerJSM — a Canadian technology start-up that started out providing online job search support to universities and colleges across the country. The portal features a new twist on standard tools such as resume development and interview preparation; but what makes it truly unique is how Optimum Talent has incorporated its neuromanagement expertise to help clients manage the emotional impact of a transition and increase personal awareness. By helping clients effectively deal with the emotional component of their transition, they’re able to move on faster, which ultimately makes them more effective in their job search.

“The Career Transition & Outplacement industry has seen tremendous change over the last eight years and that change has been largely driven by technology. Organizations want to partner with firms that can deliver flexible and creative solutions. We heard that message from our clients and responded by developing an entirely new approach to career transition that combines our vanguard, cloud-based technology with the 40 years of transition expertise,” said Sandra Boyd, National Practice Leader, Optimum Talent.

“Collaborating with a Canadian leader in Career Transition and Outplacement services has been a great opportunity. Through working with Optimum Talent, we’ve learned a tremendous amount about the right approach to career management to achieve the best outcomes, and in turn we were able to introduce Optimum Talent to the latest technologies for managing tasks like resume development, networking, and job seeking,” said Jeffrey Doucet, Chief Executive Officer at CareerJSM. “I’m also thrilled that through the launch of the new Optimum Talent Career Management Portal, we have been able to launch our CareerJSM APP (for job seekers to manage their job search effectively) and the CareerJSM HUB (for career consultants to monitor candidate engagement and provide client reporting) to the talent management space.”
