Obesity Medicine Association Names Claudia Randall, MBA, as New Executive Director

WASHINGTON, DC, October 23, 2017 — Following a national search conducted by the Sterling Martin Associates team, Denver-based Obesity Medicine Association (OMA) has named Claudia Randall, MBA as OMA’s new Executive Director, effective October 23, 2017.

Randall has two decades of experience in the health care and nonprofit industry. She has contributed to the growth of some of the nation’s largest health care nonprofit organizations and recently served as director of marketing and communications for the National Stroke Association (NSA).

Prior to her role at the NSA, Randall served in a several positions for the Medical Group Management Association, the Association of Preoperative Registered Nurses, and other leading non-profit or commercial organizations.

Randall has earned her Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science in Business/Electronic Commerce from the University of Phoenix, and over the years she has helped organizations achieve top-performance by leading high-performing teams and delivering exceptional member value, inventive demand-generation, and successful events.

In her tenure with some of the nation’s largest health care membership organizations she has achieved record attendance numbers for conferences, built aggressive member and sponsor acquisitions and retention campaigns, and launched several educational and operational products and services that enhanced membership value.
