Numerated, a fast-growing fintech, appoints Marc Jacobson to VP, Data Science & Engineering

Numerated, a fast-growing, venture-backed financial technology company powering digital transformation at banks, has appointed Marc Jacobson to Vice President, Data Science & Engineering.

He joins a growing organization that was recently named to CB Insights’ Fintech 250, an exclusive list of the top private technology companies transforming financial services today. Numerated was selected as one of the most promising fintechs from a pool of 16,000 companies following a year of hypergrowth. This includes welcoming more top-tier business banks as customers, expanding its platform, and rapidly launching digital lending experiences for the Paycheck Protection Program.

Jacobson is a results-driven technologist and organizational leader, gifted in creating effective solutions and building highly productive teams to address diverse analytic challenges and business needs in fast-paced, high-pressure startup environments and challenging settings. Prior to joining Numerated, he led data platform engineering and business intelligence at Cimpress (Nasdaq: CMPR), a company that invests in and builds customer-focused, entrepreneurial, mass-customization businesses, such as VistaPrint, for the long term. Jacobson has held analytics and business intelligence roles at TripAdvisor, Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment, Compete, a Kantar Media Company, and Harte-Hanks, to name a few.

He holds an AB in Economics and History from Brown University, a Ph.D. (ABD) in History of Science, International Relations from the University of Chicago, and an MPA2, International Development and Technology Policy from Harvard University.

ON Partners consultants John Barrett and Matt Despoth are proud to have partnered with Numerated and Marc Jacobson on this successful placement.
